I love everything about this book – method, research, recipes, photos…
I’m not a big cookbook or diet book person, but when my mom told me about Jesse and her research, I started listening to her and learning more – now I’m hooked! So much of this lifestyle aligns with how I like to eat already, with easy hacks I hadn’t thought of, and now add in to my day-to-day. Plus, so many ideas for simple beautiful meals. I would make everything in this book! It’s all fantastic.Her writing is very personable and fun. She’s a great roommate to have around 😉

Great for a health jump-start!
I’m on week 3 of the 4 weeks covered in this book, and I’ve really enjoyed it. Each section is a quick read, with a clear explanation of the WHY for each change, testimonials from people who have tried it, and recipes to help achieve each one! I like that the author doesn’t push weight loss, but instead focuses on getting your glucose steady, which can help a number of things. Even just a few days in I was more aware of my sugar levels (I don’t measure, just based on body awareness), and I like that this method helps kill the actual sugar cravings instead of asking you to brute force your way through them. By changing only one thing per week, it feels easy to start and maintain. I actually usually found myself adding the other steps when I didn’t have to because it felt so simple! I will be getting her other book to continue this journey.

Content review
If you struggle with controlling spikes and seek great information for how to do better and see great results buy this book. The information is valuable, care was taken to provide uncomplicated methods to ease you into changing habits that yield results. Also the book content is beautifully laid out. The photography is excellent, the paper is high quality and will standup over time. I highly recommend the book. I am already seeing results in my daily glucose tracking.

Pages Falling Out
I bought this book when it first came out. I started following The Glucose Goddess on Instagram awhile back because everything she said made sense after my experience with a CGM. She has great advice on what to eat and when to eat it and with what. The recipes are simple and her approach is a start here then move on to this then on to this as you gradually adopt a healthy diet. The book is graphically very stylish, colorful and modern. Fresh appetizing foods. And now the not so good. The binding of the book itself is falling apart. The pages are falling out and I can see more are not very secure. I would give it a higher rating if it weren’t for the binding problem.

Lifechanging Health Resource
Easy to read, super simple to implement (but you have to do it, just doesn’t take much time), motivational, and clearly highlights the benefits of eating this way. I don’t think there is a person who would not benefit from this, but those with blood sugar and hormonal issues will find it most helpful. I bought her first book as well, am glad I did this one first because that one is more of an involved read. Have not used the recipes yet. It’s so simple, I didn’t see why she spread it out over four weeks, but since it was so well researched I followed her approach. The four weeks really helped me create the habit. The results for me in terms of energy levels were life changing, and my blood sugar numbers have improved.

Useful information and beautiful images!
I bought this book after going on a deep dive through her instagram and YouTube channel. I can tell she spent a lot of time and effort making the information in this book concise and easy to follow, along with being visually stimulating with great graphics and colorful photos. The recipes I’ve tried so far are delicious too.
