Hard to install light bulb, not very portable
Overall, these are a very cheap way to get some lighting for the budding photography or hobbyist, but the quality is not super high on this set. I also found it quite difficult to initially open up each softbox to be able to install the light bulb.I was able to adjust the settings using the provided remote (two remotes are provided, but you can control both with one remote). The remote did require (2) AAA batteries that were not provided. You can only manually turn this on/off, the remote is needed to control the temperature of the light and the intensity. I added some photos at the lowest intensity to the highest as well as the coolest and warmest colors. The remote controls whatever one it is pointed at, so occasionally if there are close together, it might control both at the same time.My other complaint is that this is just a bag that came for the softbox itself, but nothing for storage of the bulbs or stands. This would require purchasing of your own bag to carry all these items. It is also cumbersome installing the light bulb and the product doesn’t seem very robust to be taken down/set-up frequently. It would be better if left permanently setup.

Hard to assemble!
It took me about an hour just to figure how to put the bulb inside the umbrella! No instructions whatsoever! I had to really force the circle part to snap into place to be able to place the LED bulb! I was afraid to break it. It seems so flimsy too. Save your time and money and get another brand instead! Now that i got it assembled, i hope it lasts!

Good for my purposes
I am not a professional photographer, but I do need to take good photos for my Etsy shop and other sales platforms. Jewelry is difficult for me to light because of the glare or unevenness of the light. This softbox kit is perfect for my needs! I get uniformly bright light but without the harsh glare or flares that make it look like I used an old 110 Instamatic camera. The tripods aren’t particularly heavy duty, but they’re fine for indoor use. I’m really happy with this light set, and if you sell online you’ll probably like it, too!
