Easy to read clock
I bought this clock for larger numbers and for seeing the time shown on the ceiling from the bed. I am happy with it although I still haven’t been able to set the date. No instructions. It does show the temperature in the room and good clear numbers. Love being able to see the time on the ceiling in the middle of the night. So I only gave 4 stars because it was so hard to set up.

Perfect
I love this clock, it works great and the numbers are the right size
Customer Review –
These clocks are great!
Its a simple digital clock. It has no radio, no bluetooth speaker, and it doesn’t talk, but its my best clock so far. Why? I don’t have to turn my head sideways to see the time. I just open my eyes and the time is there on my room’s ceiling, lol. The projection (color red) for is its best feature, but I also love that it display the time in white numbers, the room temperature in green and date in amber. Easy readable and of course it has alarm functions that are adjustable for weekdays and weekends. Very nice digital clock! Recommended.

Easy to use alarm clock, with a bold display and projection
This Netzu Projection Clock arrived with a 47-inch USB-A to USB-C power cable, a 5V/1A power adapter, and a concise fanfold user manual.Out of the box the clock feels rather lightweight, but gained a little more heft when two AAA batteries were inserted into a battery compartment in the back. Mind you, this is an AC powered clock, with the batteries serving to retain settings in memory should there be a power outage, or if you decide to take it on your travels. That battery backup works as intended, retaining the settings in memory as I moved the clock around my house testing the time projection. It took a few minutes to understand how to set the time/date/day, with buttons on the back, but once I became initiated the settings method became obvious, as did all of the other controls. I like that this clock clearly displays time, date, day of the week, and temperature at a glance. There is also a DST (Daylight Saving Time) setting that makes changing the time more easy twice a year. But what sets this clock apart from others that I’ve used is that it projects the time (only) onto a wall or ceiling in red digits, which is pretty convenient. The projection can be flipped depending if its facing forward or backwards. I’ve included two photos of that feature; one projected on the back of a box about 1.5 feet away and another in a pitch black bedroom, with the clock on a nightstand projecting onto an opposite wall 8-10 feet away, wherein the projection is about is a fairly large 1.5 feet wide. Cool right!?Both the front display and the projection are bold and very legible at their brightest settings, but each can be dimmed in steps or turned off independently with convenient buttons on the top of the clock. The temperature registers ambient room temperature, not outside temperature, and it works well. The alarm has 10 different ringtones which are all digital, some being more whimsical than others. The volume of those ringtones can be adjusted in 4 steps, with the loudest able to awaken all but the soundest of sleepers. Conveniently, there is USB-A output port in the back that can be used to charge a bedside device, like a phone.I like this clock for it’s bold and legible readout, it’s accuracy, it’s ease of use, the variety of ringtones, the adjustability of brightness and volume, and of course, the time projection. It’s definitely recommendable.

I’m quite pleased with this clock. The projection is its coolest feature. It is optional to have the projection on or off.The projected digits are red in colour. The projector part of the clock can swivel (on the horizontal axis) so that you can aim it backwards, towards the ceiling, forwards, and even towards the floor. The swivel is not quite 360 degrees; I would estimate the range is 320 degrees. There is a button to press that will flip the projected digits from mirror image to regular orientation. The farther away you have the projector aimed, the larger the digits will appear. There are 3 brightness levels for the projected digits. The projected digits are not visible in the daytime or in a room that has its lights on, even on the brightest projector setting. They projected digits are only visible in a dim or dark room. For the main body of the clock, the time is diplayed in white digits, the temperature is displayed in green, and the date is displayed in orange. There are 4 brightness levels. The display can also be dimmed to the point of zero brightness–the screen will look like it’s off.I found the white digits are too bright at night, so I dimmed it to zero brightness. There is one alarm. When the alarm is set, an alarm clock icon is visible above the colon. You can choose to have the alarm active either 7 days a week or only on weekdays. For the alarm sound, the sound quality is surprisingly pleasant, for an alarm. Or should I say that the sound is less unpleasant than usual alarm sounds are. There are 10 different alarm sounds, from the 1st 4 notes of the classic Big Ben to a variety of instrumental songs. Among them are the music to the Cygnettes dance from Swan Lake, the William Tell Overture, and Minuet in G. My favourite is the Romance Anonym. Each song is very brief, playing just the opening phrase of the melody (between 4 and 16 counts, depending on the song) before pausing and then repeating. There are also 2 different beeping sounds that can be chosen. There are 4 different volume levels for the alarm. The loudest is quite loud. The clock is powered by a USB-C cord. There is also a USB-A port on the back of the clock from which you could charge your phone. There is battery back-up on this clock in the event of a power failure. It takes 2 AAA batteries. The battery back up saves your time and alarm settings, allowing the alarm to continue to operate during a power outage. However, the screen will not light up while on battery back up.I’m really happy with this projection clock.5/5 Highly recommended.

Review for: “Netzu Projection Alarm Clock, Digital Clock with 350° Rotatable Projector, Date Temperature and Weekday, Manual DST, 5 Brightness, 10 Ringtones, 4 Volumes and Snooze for Bedroom”Brand: NetzuThe Netsu Projection Alarm Clock came in a box measuring 10 5/8″ x 3 9/16″ x 1 5/8” (27 cm x 9 cm x 4.2 cm) with the user manual, USB-C to USB-A cable, and AC adapter that is safety-certified for use in Canada. The alarm clock is easy-to-use and intuitive. If you don’t remember how to set something, most of it has instructions written right on the clock. Everything is well-labelled. Two “AAA” batteries are required to keep the memory in case of a power failure but they do not light up the display. The clock runs on USB-C but there is also a USB-A input to charge your phone. The time and alarms are in white, the temperature is green, the date is orange, and the projection for the ceiling is red. These can’t be changed. There is a projection button to turn the projection light on with 3 levels of brightness or off, or long-press to flip it 180°. The projection will be larger when farther away from the clock. There is just one alarm on this model, with 4 levels of volume and 10 different sounds to wake up to. The alarm can be set for all 7 days (1-7), just the weekdays (1-5), or just the 2-day weekend (6-7). Pressing the snooze bar will give 9 minutes more sleep, or change the brightness of the display if not in alarm mode, which has 4 levels of brightness or off.I am quite fond of projection clocks as it is so nice to wake up and just look at the ceiling to find out the time, then go right back to sleep. I like that you can turn off the main display as well, or have it on the very dimmest setting which isn’t very bright. I like that this clock is intuitive and doesn’t require reading the manual each time I want to set an alarm. I recommend this projection alarm clock.

This is a fairly decent alarm clock that’s reasonably well-made and works as expected without issues. It’s packed with many of the features that I need and none for the ones I don’t care (i.e. radio or with BT/App). It feels a bit lightweight and perhaps even feel bit cheap at times (in terms of material) in comparison to some others that I’ve come across; however, it’s not as bad as I initially thought after using it for a while so take what you will from that. It’s entirely made of plastic as most of these alarm clocks are but it does have something that many other don’t and that’s of course the LED projection capability; it’s nothing new or fancy but it’s still relatively uncommon and I do find it very useful for my needs. In addition, it has different colors for temperature and date which I very much prefer because it’s just that much easier to see.â¡ PowerIt’s powered by USB-C and a USB-A/C cable is provided with a USB charger; however, I opt to use my own with a much longer (1-pin) magnetic cable. It also has a USB-A port for output should you have the need for that. Its internal clock can be kept in sync during power outage with 2x AAA batteries (not included); however, unlike most others that would continue to be fully functional in an outage (i.e. lit up display of some form), all display will be turned off during a power outage while the internal clock be kept in sync via the 2x AAA batteries and full display to be returned only when power is restored. This is not an ideal setup in my mind but that’s not a deal breaker either.â¡ DisplayThe main display (for time) is fairly large, bright, and easy to read/see which I do appreciate. One of the features that I like is the fact that it has different colors (and sensible ones at that) for temperature and the date. I have had others with different colors too but they were blue against black background and that’s just difficult to see which rendered it completely useless for my needs. It has 5 (or 4 really unless you count OFF being of the levels) levels of brightness which is decent; unfortunately, the same brightness setting applied to ALL 3 units (time, temp, and date) and that’s a bit of a bummer. It would be that much better if the brightness of them can be adjustable independently instead.â¡ FeaturesIt has all of the common features that alarm clocks typically have along with temperature and date (and manual DST function) which is nice. None of these features require details discussions as they are quite common nowadays and the buttons are for the most part intuitive that work fairly well given the situation. However, I’ll very briefly describe those that I believe are useful and/or unique in some way.First off, it has 5 brightness levels (again, 4 levels and off) for the main display (time, temp, and date) and 4 levels (3 levels and off) for the LED projection. The projection is quite similar to most others and of typical quality comparing to nearly all others but it does have a slightly larger image size which is nice that suits my need (but it may not necessarily be good in situations when the distance is large). The red LED projection (would’ve been better if it has green LED though) can be flipped and rotate similar to just about all others as well. It has 3 alarms modes (daily, weekday, and weekend) along with a snooze function, and the highest volume (5 levels) is actually loud as far as alarms are concerned. I particularly like the fact that it has music ringtones instead of just the plain and old school alarms. Last but not least, in addition to the usual date/time format (i.e. 12/24 hr), it also has a DST setting which would automatically fall back one hour when DST is enabled which is nice.â¡ ValueAll things considered, this is a fairly decent alarm clock with multi-color temp/date display along with red LED projection capability that’s reasonably well-built (although it does feel a bit lightweight) and works as expected without issues although improvement can certainly be made.It has most of the typical/common features that one might need (me included) along with a large white LED screen that’s easy to read and use; however, I do wish that it has a built-in battery instead of requiring 2x AAA to during outage; even a relatively small built-in rechargeable Li-ion battery would be better. It’s reasonably priced at $27 for what it provides and its overall build quality, features, usability, and performance.

My favourite part about this clock is that it is simple to use. There are enough buttons that you don’t have to push multiple buttons at once to get it to work and the basic instructions are on the clock in letters that are actually large enough to read. As someone who has hunted for a clock instruction booklet more than once during time changes or power outages, I can’t tell you how reassuring that is. And as someone who needs reading glasses … well, it was nice to see something written legibly! The DST button will be a joy to use in a few months – one click and you’re done. There are several different light levels for both the main display and the projection. For me, the main display does not go as low as I would like but the projection does so I put the base on a windowsill and project the time across from the bed. This way, I don’t have to see the bright white during the night but can easily read it during the day when I care more about things like date and temperature (these are not projected). The projection is sharp and large – the numbers are 8″ high on a wall 10′ away. The unit is on the larger size but, again, since it projects and you have more options of where it can be placed, space is a less of an issue. It came with both a cable and an adapter, which was a nice touch as well. It does require 2 AAA batteries to save your settings during power outages which are not included.

I had another simple projection clock, and I really liked the feature, so I ordered this for another room. I like it so much that it’s replaced the one I had in my bedroom. The display is super crisp and very bright if need be (my wife had me turn down the brightness the first night because it was giving off TOO much light). Not only is the brightness of the display adjustable, but the projector also has a few options – brightness, and you can rotate the display 180° to suit your setting. I would have liked to see a 90° option as well, in case you want to use the clock facing a certain way, and want to project at a right angle. The projected display only shows the time, but the main display has some other useful information like date/day and temperature. The clock is easy to operate, and while it takes a bit away from the aesthetics, there are detailed instructions on all of the button function (eg: Long press to adjust the alarm time) so there’s no real need to refer to an instruction booklet. The alarm sound is on high by default, which I found out rather jarringly. It’s plenty loud enough for people who are hard of hearing, or those who wear earplugs when they sleep. As for the quality of sound, there are a few ‘ringtone’ style options (10 in total) that are a little bit of a step up from the usual general midi or electronic beep that comes with many digital alarm clocks. The timbre of the sound at low volumes is quite pleasant, actually.
