There are metal lines and blocks welded onto the round frame to represent the numbers, and two long bars in the center that go from top to bottom hold the timepiece. Two AA batteries run this clock that doesn’t make a sound as it runs. So far, the time continues to be correct, and the large size and modern style look great with many different types of decor. Beautiful clock
I got this for a prop in play, so not really typical use, but it is very nice looking and very lightweight. I get worried hanging large items like this, but no anchors required! Very pretty.

Large Impressive Gorgeous Clock
This functioning wall clock is so pretty and large. It is definitely an eye catching piece of art. It lightweight and seems well built. It was packaged well with the clock hands and mechanical parts protected. Love it!!

Very nice looking clock
This is a beautiful clock and a nice addition to our family room. It is made of metal, but is lightweight. I don’t remember if the Amazon listing covered this, but the gears are for decoration and do not move. Nonetheless, it is a beautiful, classy clock.
