So cute!
A lot of people complaining the sound doesnât work. It plays a song when the sensors recognize a change in light. When the room is darker, it doesnât play because sensors donât recognize that the puzzle piece has been lifted. Works better in a well lit room.

Doesnât work after a few minutes
My toddler loves Ms Rachel so much so I was super excited to get this. How ever after just a few minutes the music stopped . I turned it on and off still nothing. Itâs a good matching puzzle if thatâs all your looking for but no light or songs long term

Music is super buggy
Cute puzzle, but the sound does not work. I put batteries in it and it didnât work. I tried new batteries and it still didnât work. I decided to let my daughter play with it as a puzzle when she walked away from it randomly started one song, cut off, then started playing another song. In my video you can see that it randomly started playing the bunny song and when I try to make any other song play, it doesnât work. This seems to be an issue with this toy, if you look at other retailers reviews for it. Really disappointed that they would put out such a buggy toy.

Light affects the sound
Love this toy so much. It seemed to quit working but figured out when it gets dark inside the sound doesnât come on. Shined my iphone flashlight on it and it worked fine. 2 year old Grandson is enjoying

i have very big feelings about this one!
and they are not positive.puzzle only plays one of the songs about ONE EVERY 100 times the puzzle pieces are taken out. completely inconsistent, and terrible sound quality.i love Mrs. Rachel and i was so excited for this treat of a toy for my toddlers (almost 3 and 2 years old) but an hour after getting it, theyâre over it! i couldnât even afford it but i trusted this brand and Mrs. Rachel to deliver a quality product; i guess i was wrong.cute vibrant colors, but only get it if you donât want to have it function as advertised.

To all those saying, it doesnât work
Hope this is helpful to those who say the puzzle doesnât work⦠the puzzle piece sensors need brighter light in order to work. The sound wonât play if the room is too dark. Try again in a daylight! Otherwise, the puzzle is well-made and plays Ms Rachelâs top songs. First, I thought the volume was too low, but I appreciate that it isnât blaring like many other toys. It is slightly annoying when they remove multiple pieces at once and cut off each song, but thatâs just what kids do!

Puzzle needs some light to work
The puzzle is really nice. I bought 2 for my grandsons. So disappointed when one only work for a little while and the other not at all. Started a return then noticed âneeds lightâ on the puzzle. Only needs daylight. Lol. I hope others see this because if your kids love Miss Rachael songs theyâll love it for sure!

Poor quality
I am very disappointed in the quality of this puzzle. The pieces have the pictures already rubbed off and peeling. The board itself is peeling. The edges of the pieces are rough and I am worried about splinters. Very disappointed in this quality for the price I paid.

NOTE: Must be used with a good amount of light!Works well, you just have to make sure your room is bright and not dim. If you cast a shadow over the light sensors, it will process that the sensor is covered and when the shadow is moved it will play a song. This is the same with all Melissa & Doug wooden sound puzzles.The speakers sound quality definitely serves its purpose. It’s not the best sound quality, but for a toy that costs ~20$ it doesn’t need to be. Most importantly our little one does not mind in the slightest and is as happy as a clam listening and doing the actions along to the music.The build quality is great! our little one has thrown it off the table a few times and it has held up well. Melissa & Doug is definitely a brand I trust and this puzzle has only reinforced that assertion.The puzzle requires 2 aa batteries.In conclusion, Our little one absolutely loves it!! Miss Rachel take my money!!10/10 would recommend!
