Great Clock Which Is Extremely Accurate & Self Sets – Wonderful Gift Item Too!
Unit I have is now over three years old and works so well I gave one to a niece and her husbandand both appreciate this great clock. All you do is to place a single AA battery, set it for your Time Zone,then Summer Time or Standard Time, place it near a window and overnight sets itself. The battery lasts over a year but as a soul of caution check battery strength each time change using an inexpensive Universal Battery Tester purchased also from Amazon checking every battery powered device including smoke/carbon dioxide detectors and flashlights. As a former U.S. Navy Quartermaster-Navigator I want all my time pieces accurate to the very second and this is the unit I set all of them by.

Accurate time in an affordable wall clock
I am very happy with my purchase of this atomic wall clock. It’s attractive, easy to read from a distance and, important to me, I don’t have to take it down (I have it mounted fairly high) twice a year to adjust the time for Daylight Savings Time. I’m in my late 60’s and getting on a ladder is not something that I’m completely comfortable doing. The clock was easy to set-up following the instructions included: inserted battery, toggled switch to “yes” for Daylight Savings Time and then placed it on a wall facing toward Fort Collins, Colorado. As the instructions indicate, the hands of clock will go around and around the face of the clock until it detects the signal from Colorado—it then sets itself to the correct time. In my case this took about 1-1/2 hrs. Very nice atomic wall clock for the price.

Good value and convenience for the price
This is the second LaCrosse clock we have had. The other is the indoor/outdoor that is hanging on the garage wall in the yard. Both were a snap to set. They do it themselves! Read the instructions, choose your time zone, put in the new battery and set the clock facing Colorado. I put ours on the floor propped up against the patio doors facing West. The minute hand spins around and stops. Then let it go. We left for the morning and when we came home about 4 hrs later, it was set to the proper time. Looks fine on the kitchen wall, no one will touch it and notice it is plastic, but it shines enough to match the stainless steel appliances. I would buy this or any of their other products in a heartbeat. Even will adjust for Daylight Savings (ours both came pre-set for that feature). Cost about $8 more than the last clock we had and that kept losing time constantly. Good value and convenience for the price. Has kept perfect time, love having the second hand too.

Perfect! Exceeded Expectations
I wanted a clock to match my nickel finish decor. I read reviews on other clocks and learned that nickel tone numbers were difficult to read. Additionally, many clocks recommended not using alkaline batteries. I decided on this clock and I made the right choice! Pictures do not do the clock justice! It is beautiful, easy to read and keeps perfect time. I absolutely love it!

Accurate Clock, Inaccurate Atomic Signal
1st clock kept self-setting 90 minutes behind current time. Returned. Replacement clock never set itself even after a full week. But since it keeps accurate time after manually being set, I decided to keep it. But it’s disappointing that the atomic self-setting feature doesn’t seem to work with this clock, which is the reason I bought it in the first place.UPDATE: After a few weeks, the clock started correctly re-setting itself after pushing the “wave” button. I tested it 4 times and each time the clock re-set itself to the correct local time within a matter of minutes. So I’ve upgraded the rating to 4 stars. I have withheld 1 star due to the hassle with the first clock and my initial “giving up” on this second one.

Big Silver-Colored Plastic Clock Set Itself to Correct Time Within 10 Minutes
This LACROSSE TECHNOLOGY 14 INCH ATOMIC ANALOG CLOCK (WT-3144S, Silver) replaces a similar Ć¢ĀĀatomicĆ¢ĀĀ wall clock that I purchased from Staples many years ago. That clock finally lost its ability to find a radio-broadcast time signal after being dropped once too often.I love atomic clocks, because they never need resetting for daylight or standard time. I also love battery-powered wall clocks, because they aren’t affected by frequent local electrical outages. This clock will run for a couple of years on a single AA alkaline battery! When you need to replace the battery, the clock resets itself automatically. (The battery is not included.)This big silver clock is plastic, and looks kinda cheap; but that’s forgivable because itĆ¢ĀĀs budget-priced (about $22 on Amazon). The face is large enough, and readable enough, that you can place it up high somewhere–and then nobody can tell what it’s made of. I have mine sitting on a stand for decorative ceramic plates, on top of a bookcase, and it looks fine.My clock was simple to set up. There is a slider for setting the time zone, and one for setting automatic Daylight Time adjustments. I inserted the battery and placed the clock near a window, facing east (because the source of the time signal is in Colorado, and IĆ¢ĀĀm in California). The clock found a signal almost immediately and set itself to the correct time. (The manual says it may take up to 5 overnights to find a signal; but the clock can also be set manually if no signal can be found.)

Very good looking! Always correct time! Automatically adjusts to DST (on exact day and time when it is supposed to). It may need a few days to catch the signal, once it does, there is no any problems thereafter. I have this clock hanging in a room with a roof window (this is the only window in the room). It is mounted on the west wall, i.e. the face of the clock faces east. And it’s about 3 feet away from the window. Toronto, Canada.

Although the packaging has left a small mark on the silver part of the clock I give this clock five stars because the product itself is great. It is light, which you obviously want if it’s going to hang on a wall, and very stylish. It took a few hours to adjust itself, as expected, and it keeps a very accurate time like it promises to do.
