Keep track of time with the utmost precision with this attractive atomic analog wall clock from La Crosse Technology. The stylish clock receives radio signals at a 60kHz frequency up to 2000 miles away from its source, the United States Atomic Clock in Boulder, Colorado. By radio communication with its built-in antenna, the clock regularly updates the hour, minute, and second of the day for continued accuracy. Additionally, the clock adjusts automatically for daylight savings time in the spring and fall. An attractive chrome-colored plastic frame encompasses the clock face. Underneath the flat lens, contemporary numerals adorn the face for easy reading. Four buttons allow users to choose the appropriate United States time zone. For those who prefer their clocks to run five minutes fast or to match another clock, the clock offers a manual set option. For the best results, place the clock away from computers, electronic equipment or other articles that receive a signal. The clock may be slow to receive signals upon initial set-up, but should communicate unhindered after one day. This clock requires the separate purchase of one AA battery for a year’s worth of power. With a 7-1/4-inch diameter face, the full body of the clock measures 10 inches in diameter with a 1-2/3-inch depth. The clock weighs 1-1/3 pounds upon shipping.

This Clock has a “Wow!” Factor
The lightweight box stuffed in my mailbox was unassuming but when I opened it and quickly learned how to set it up this clock became a Wow!All you do to get started is tell it your Time Zone and if you have Daylight Savings. The battery easily pops in, then the clock takes over and does the rest. It finds the correct time without being on any local network. I have found it to be as accurate as the time on my phone!Only slight caution and it is my own issue. When ordering I thought the picture was showing a white trim, but it is actually a very nice neutral silver.I would definitely buy this product again.

Always the correct time!
I have several of these clocks in my home and purchased this one for use in second home. I love that they always show the correct time, even when we spring forward or fall back (daylight savings time). I wish the design was a little more stylish, but the simple look works well in any room. Highly recommend.

Works and great value
So far so good. I was absolutely convinced it would not work properly here. I have an ancient LaCrosse LCD weather station thing (that I love and still works) with atomic time that only syncs about 1/3 of the year. I also have an expensive Casio Wave Ceptor atomic watch that, similarly, can’t sync unless I have it in a few certainly places in the house. This clock is not one of those places- an inside bathroom with no windows and on an interior, insulated wall. I am on the mid east coast on the water, and according to all the maps, is one of the worst places for Bolder Co signal to reach (why is it 2013 and there are still no other options for syncing clocks? FM radio, cell signals, TV signals… it is silly there is nothing available that is MUCH stronger and works anywhere inside any kind of building). But this clock? I put in the battery and hung it on the wall at about 8pm, it swept around and stopped. When I went back in the room at 11:30pm, it was magically synced and ticking away and has been for a few weeks now. It is easy to use, easy to read, and doesn’t tick loudly. If it gives me several years of service like this, I will be very happy. Can’t beat the price. I do wish they had some more designs in their lineup. If it keeps working well, I am probably going to buy some additional units. It is interesting that the minute hand moves in 10 second increments. Most clocks I have seen either move the minute hand in one second or 15 second increments. Probably doesn’t matter, just thought I would share that unusual tidbit. One thing- it doesn’t sit flush against the wall as you might think it does from the stock photo, since the clock “brain” and battery box is in the back.

Accurate
I just have to wait and reset the time before it will work. Surprisingly, works perfect and exact time zone. Highly recommended. Thank you

Good clock. Love atomic setting feature.
Good clock. The atomic synchronization feature really works. However you may need some patience and the instructions at first.I bought this clock as a Warehouse deal. The black ring on the face was a little scuffed, probably from chafing while in transit. There were no instructions. However the instructions are easily found online. Just search for the model number. The clock needs one AA battery (not included). That battery may be enough for two years of operation. LaCrosse recommends battery replacement every 24 months. As soon as you install the battery the clock seeks a time signal from Fort Collins, Colorado. The hands start to rotate. If the clock does catch the time signal then it will set itself to the second. This clock exactly matched my cell phone, to the second. Nice. However, it did not synch with the time signal on the first try. The directions note that time signals have the least interference at night. Placing the clock in a window with the back facing toward Colorado helps. LaCrosse notes that it may take up to five days for the clock to get a clear time signal due to weather or other interference. Or, the signal could be blocked by things such as thick walls in a building or a metal roof. If it cannot catch a time signal there is an option for setting manually. The clock has settings for your time zone (Pacific, Mountain, Central or Eastern) and for Daylight Savings Time (on, or off). This means that it will work fine in a state without Daylight Savings Time, such as Arizona. With just the four options for time zones, the atomic feature of the clock is unusable in Hawaii, Alaska, or eastern Canada. In any case it meets my needs for a clock in my workshop in Massachusetts. For me, five stars.

Bought this to replace the digital clock we had in the kitchen. It’s an attractive design, easy to see from a distance and I love that it’s bang-on accurate and stays that way. Accuracy is a thing for me and this meets the requirements. Well recommended and available at a decent price. Also, my second LaCrosse product, so far I’m very impressed by them.

If synced to the radio time sourceâ¦and set itself. All I had to do was press the button for eastern time zone in the us. (Note: it only is programmed for the four US time zones. )Itâs quiet, and accurate. The second hand is well calibrated and lands on the tick marks. Iâm actually very happy with it.

Nice looking clock but does not auto set for countries outside of the US. As such a bit pointless for UK market.
