Great security Item for the home
I wanted to have something that would lock and can be controlled removed. The feature I enjoyed the most was the auto lock feature. It’s great to know that it will lock when I forget or I’m unable to manually lock it when hands become unavailable. Excellent product, but beware of what SMART means
First of all, this is an excellent product. The keypad, key fob and fingerprint reader all work like a charm. Also, the auto lock feature works as described, locking itself after the set interval.The big beef I have is with the use of the word SMART in the title. What they mean, is that the lock can be controlled using a Blue-tooth enabled app. So you have to be within a hundred feet of the lock to access those functions. For example, you cannot remotely lock or unlock the device using internet UNLESS you buy a separate gateway. The lock itself does not connect to your router, only to your phone via Bluetooth.

This is my first smart lock and I was very excited about it. It did not disappoint! Actually, it exceeded all my expectations. It’s very versatile!There are several ways of locking the lock; with a keypad using a code, with fob, an actual key, fingerprint and via app. we were able to re-key the lock so we can still use our existing keys.As Iâm always carrying something when I get jomw such as grocery bags and my purse, this smart lock makes it much easier for me to open the door, without having to look for the keys and put the bags down on the porch.Another feature that I like is that within the app you can designate different codes to different people.There are three people that are staying at my house and we have our own codes. Same goes for your fingerprint. There are so many features are on the app that I have not even explored yet :-)I wish that I was able to upload more than one video as I made several videos showing different features of this lock.Another feature that I really like is that you can set it up to automatically lock after certain time. so in case you forgot to lock it it will do it itself :-)The only downside of stylish looking lock makes my door look a tad bit outdated and old, so now I’m shopping for a new door lol 🙂

Multiways of unlocking
My current schlage deadbolt lock doesn’t turn/lock all of a sudden. This would be a replacement lock for my main door. It took me about 20min to install and another 15min to set it up with passcodes & fingerprints. Most of the time was tying to click through the app and see what features it has to offer. I personally like the auto lock function that you can choose from 5s up to whenever. The key fob and the actual key are also helpful for seniors if they are not used to a smart lock.
