Adorable!
Very sturdy and smooth movements! The pet and tickle sensors are touch sensors instead of actual buttons, which is a cool improvement. The feet movement is a nice addition, though I wish the beak could move as well. The ears animate well and can move independently, and the light up feature is a fun addition to the expressions. There are more features in each category to unlock as Furby is played with. Chill is a particularly nice command, teaching kids meditative and calming techniques. I wish there were more interactive games, but there are so many different voice lines programmed in that I still haven’t heard all of them. This Furby is also easy to turn off by either laying on it’s back and waiting for it to fall asleep or triple tapping it’s grm to immediately turn it off, which is a great addition. The charm necklace is also a really cute idea and I love that they included it. Overall a great new version of Furby.

Nostalgic fun
While it’s not the original by any means I find it to be cute and fun. My children love it. I’m a little sad it can’t interact with my original furbies though, but rest assured my rainbow furby has woken me up out of a dead sleep at 3:40am EST because it decided it was dance time much like the original furbies occasionally did to many people so if you want randomly woken up during the witching hour by all means leave this guy in the room you sleep in because it goes all out with a dance and light show just to scare your jammies off and I am taking the batteries out now.

Cute not creepy
I will admit I was skeptical when my daughter wanted a Furby. I was a kid who begged for a Furby when I was little only to end up finding them super creepy. It would randomly turn on in the middle of the night? Not for me. Thankfully, the new version does not do this and is actually very cute. My daughter loves to do Ć¢ĀĀdance partyĆ¢ĀĀ with her new friend, and it even makes road trips with us. It is a little pricey, but it does have a lot of cool features (dance party, teaching Furbish, interacting with you, etcĆ¢ĀĀ¦).

Today I am reviewing the one and only Furby in its newest iteration. I actually grew up during the time of the original Furby, which I received one Christmas in the early aughts. This modern version is sort of like the original FurbyĆ¢ĀĀs neon cousin. The resemblance is there despite all the differences – most notably the smaller immobile mouth and much larger ears which illuminate and animate with Furby upon its awakening. Much like the original, this version speaks Ć¢ĀĀFurbish,Ć¢ĀĀ and comes complete with a concise Ć¢ĀĀFurbish DictionaryĆ¢ĀĀ within the instructions manual, aptly titled Ć¢ĀĀFriendship Guide.Ć¢ĀĀ This Furby almost immediately came to life upon the installation of 4 AA batteries. It should be noted that this Furby speaks a mix of both Furbish and English, so itĆ¢ĀĀs very easy to follow along even if youĆ¢ĀĀre not familiar with FurbyĆ¢ĀĀs native tongue. Speaking of tongues, you press the FurbyĆ¢ĀĀs mouth to feed it, rub the belly to tickle, and pat the patch of fur up top to pet its head. Furby does not like being ignored and will promptly fall asleep within about 1-2 minutes of inactivity. Many people complain about FurbyĆ¢ĀĀs not having an Ć¢ĀĀOffĆ¢ĀĀ button, but my main gripe with this toy is that thereĆ¢ĀĀs no way of controlling volume. I made the mistake of testing this late at night close to an open window. Needless to say I think some of my neighbors may have heard all the fun I was having – the thing talks to you like youĆ¢ĀĀre standing at the opposite side of the room. The lights are a cool feature, and its cute little feet rock it back and forth for extra expression. I had no use for FurbyĆ¢ĀĀs incessant singing and Ć¢ĀĀdance partiesĆ¢ĀĀ which it seems to default to upon initial activation. There are ways to bypass this, so read the manual if you want a more docile creature. All in all, a fantastic piece in FurbyĆ¢ĀĀs legacy.

The colors of the tie dye furby are so pleasant to look at. The furby can be turned off as well, so it never gets too noisy lol.
