After you install this dusk to dawn motion sensor outdoor porch light, it is found that the front porch light does not turn on after powering on, which may be due to the following 2 reasons;
1. Is the wiring correctly connected?
2.The bulb is damaged, please replace the bulb to test.
3. If you are testing this outdoor post light during the day, please cover the sensor so that the lamp will turn on.
4.If there is no power in the socket, please press the “RESET” button once.

Great product and does its job. The only con is that if you do not position your ground correctly because of space in the back housing it can touch the GFI neutral or hot and pop the breaker. It took me a bit to figure out the problem because you really can not see inside the housing to see the ground wire making contact. This happened because my junstion round base was almost flat and the wires were all stored insice the lights housing. If you have a deeper junction box you can just place the wires inside it to minimise the wired close to the GFI plug. either than that it was easy to install for me and I an not an electrition.FYI Please make sure to have the breaker off and test that the line is not live to prevent an accident. Light switches can be faulty, so don’t just trust the light is off so the line is dead.

These lanterns are beautiful and come with an Amber lightbulb that makes the lighting so warm and inviting. My first one had a crack on the top (Iâm sure from delivery service) and I contacted customer service & sent a picture of the damage. I literally had a replacement the next day!! Absolutely wonderful company & I will buy from them again!

LIght fills with water after each rain
I bought this during a dry spell. After it started raining regularly a couple of months later I found that the light started filling with water after each rain. It only has a 30 day return period, so I’m out of luck. I bought 2 and installed both the same day and the same way. One fills with water the other does not. Quality control seems low.
