This mantle clock keeps perfect time. Love the feature to select turns chime off at night automatically. It looks expensive but is affordable.

Cheaper than expected, but it works
This clock is a gift and I had the recipient pick it out to make sure it was what she wanted. It’s a good looking clock and since it will be sitting on a mantel out of reach it looks good from a distance. The disappointment comes with the fact that it’s more plastic than metal and glass. I think using metal and glass and a slightly higher price point would have been better. I put it together and it seems to work as designed, before giving it away. Don’t know how long it will last / work. That’s still an unknown.

Perfect. Easy to set up. Sounds just like Big Ben! As for the numbers, it is actually common in the watch industry to list the IIII as IV for tradition as well as aesthetics. Just a little clock history for the non-collectors.

Adds elegance to my room
Chose this clock to add to my bookcase shelf. It looks beautiful. It was very easy to set up and get running. The chimes are amazing. If I could choose one added feature it would be to add the option of having a small led light on the inside to come on at dusk and go off at dawn. That would be a wonderful way to accent the crystals at night.

Generally Love the look and the chime feature, but I cannot easily correct the amount of times that it chimes on the correct time. This should be automatically adjustable to the correct time for your zone. EST,CST,MST, etc.

Beautiful but made ofplastic
I am not an experienced “clock person” so consider that as you read. I wanted a nice, vintage looking clock with a chime. Most of them were $500 and up and that is too high. I bought this one because it looked beautiful and the price was right. I found it to be all plastic. It does have a wood cast but literally everything else is light weight, cheap plastic. At a distance, it looks great! It sounds great. It keeps time. If you pick it up, its light as a feather.
