Great for kids!
Legit set for a kid to get cracking on. The sounds are fun, and pretty good. Honestly they should have a few more goofy sounds in there, but they are all kind of straightforward drum sets. 15 different drum sets actually. The throne is pretty darn good quality. The sticks feel like regular 5As, very light and normal size which might be awkward for small kids. Being very critical of drum sets, I can say there are a few things that annoy me. One of them is that there’s not really a safe place to mount the module, and even if there was, the snake that goes into the module has pre-lengthened cables so you kind of have to put it somewhere on the front support beam which seems a little dangerous to me because a little kid might give it a good smack. Another thing that annoyed me is that the toms won’t play at the same time as the snare, and I believe it also will not play the Tom’s at the same time that it plays the symbols or the kick drum. But again, super kit for little kids. The pedals, the frame, everything is of a nice decent quality and you can build it kind of as big or a small as you want to. But the throne only goes down to like probably about 15 or 16 in. Overall I would recommend for a kid especially one that doesn’t know how to play the drums yet. Other than that, the module does some different things. It has a metronome and I believe it has some songs or something you can play, and there is some customization available for the kids. So I would recommend and I’m happy with my purchase.

Great beginner drum set
Perfect for my boys who are just starting out with drum lessons. I have a 9 and 7 year old and it fits them great. Slightly smaller than a professional but itâs great for starters to see if theyâll really get into it. The headphones are definitely cheaper quality but they work for now. One thing to note is you canât hear the drum set without an amplifier or headphones. So if you want the sound louder you will need extra equipment. Great drum set of the price

Great Drum Set!
Our son was interested in getting drums but we have a small place. So we needed something not too big or too loud. This was perfect. It was easy to put together which was really appreciated. It was not too big or too small and fits perfectly in the space we made for it. My son uses headphones with them and has a great time playing without it bothering us. We were worried how noisy they would be since the only place to put them was in the room next to the living room but we don’t notice them at all. Highly recommend!

Great beginner set
Easy set up, sturdy set and great sound. We bought this for my son’s 13th birthday and it did not disappoint. My husband set it up very quickly and easily and my son has been playing it non stop for the last few days. Even his friends with regular drum sets comment on how great this electric set sounds.

IT DEPENDS…
Ok, so I got this NOT realizing it was meant for older kids. That’s on me but it should still work properly. So this set depends on who you are buying it for and where their skill level is at now and how good do you or they want to become. You can’t hit two things at the same time and hear both sounds / beats. So if you hit the top hat and the snare at the same time you’ll only hear one or the other. That’s not good for anyone at any level. There are different drums packs to choose from (which is cool) but the problem is what they packed together. You’ll end up needing / wanting a certain drum from one set and another drum from another set… you can’t mix them though. You must use what is already programmed in. Is it fun? Yes, it really is and I think this will turn out to be a great instrument for our grandson – I’m giving it to him. But it will only last for so long because of the issues with it. It’s easy to put together and it’s extremely easy for it to literally fall apart while you’re playing it. The drums will methodically drop the more you hit them no matter how much you use the included tightening key. At one point, the entire rack fell in upon itself. So as long as the set stays together and as long as our grandson learns and progresses, it will have a cut off point when the drum set will no longer be any good for him. That’s a problem. It shouldn’t matter how good he gets as to the amount of time this drum set is any good and this is why I titled my review it depends.
