Very bright.
We got these because we live in the country and there isn’t a street lighting site. When it’s dark it’s dark. We put one in the driveway so that we could see at night when we’re parking. We put one on the shed near the goat lot so that we can see what the dogs are barking about. We have them set so that they are bright when somebody passes under them, then they go dim but even with the light being dim you can still see. They are very well made and easy to install. The remotes still work. Don’t forget batteries because they don’t come with it.

Great light but experienced failure.
Purchased 5 solar street lights for church grounds. Very positive reaction from congregation. Variety of light settings make lights suitable for most any application. After about a week after installation one lamp failed to light at dusk. Replacement was quickly in hand. Despite the failure of one, am very pleased with the lights.

Wattage not as described
I bought an 8000 Watts version expecting to get some exceptional lighting from this, however, it is extremely dim and can barely light my small front yard. The lighting ability is extremely disappointing. If you are buying this because you are looking for strong lighting I do not recommend this at all as it performs extremely poorly at that even with the stated 8000W. I own a 7000W light from another brand which is extremely bright and this light at 100% brightness appears to be about 25% the brightness of that other light. I could not believe. I kept telling myself maybe itâs not fully charged, so I eventually left it in the sun charging for an entire week (with clear sky, strong sunlight, and adjusting the position as the sun sets) and still no difference at 100%.The other features, however, works extremely well. The remote is very responsive and convenient and the motion detection is excellent.If strong lighting is what you need ( either for kids play area, to do task, for security purposes, for a parking lot) do not purchase, however, if you just need a little lighting (to light a footpath to ensure you do not trip on anything) and need something with great motion sensor and the convenience of a remote, then you can consider (then again you wonât be purchasing an 8000W light just for that right?).
