I LOVE This Enameled Cast Iron Dutch Oven
This dutch oven rivals the well-known brand that costs hundreds of dollars (you know the one), and works excellently. The dutch oven heats evenly, browns nicely, and actually goes in the oven without a hitch. It’s cast iron, so anticipate the weight. This isn’t a complaint, just a reminder for anyone who may work with lighter weight pots and pans on a regular basis. This dutch oven is the real deal, and I’m very happy with it. I tested it with a stew, braised short ribs, and sourdough bread and it passed with flying colors on all accounts.

Enameled cast iron pot
I love cast iron. I probably have every shape and size as well as new and old cast iron. I am very particular keeping my cast iron pieces seasoned so I was surprised that there were no instructions on seasoning this cast iron pot. The cleaning instructions read as if there is enamel coating on the inside of the pot. The enamel coating is only on the outside, not the inside. I do not prefer enameling as one shouldn’t use any soap on bare cast iron (it ruins the seasoning) but soap is necessary to get food off the outside enameled part so cleaning can be tricky. It holds 2 quarts as advertised, but I found the diameter to be small. The bottom of the pot is slightly smaller than my smallest burner. I found it hard to brown meat in it for soup or stew because of the small diameter. I had to do the browning in SMALL batches so the meat would brown instead of steam. I haven’t tried it in the oven yet, but knowing cast iron I’m sure it would perform as expected. I would have given it 5 stars because I love cast iron, but I took one star away because of cleaning and seasoning issues. It is a nice little size when cooking for 2 people though.

Beautiful
This 6 Quart Enameled Cast Iron Dutch Oven is a beautiful and functional addition to any kitchen. The vibrant blue color gives it a stylish appearance, making it stand out on the stovetop or table. Itâs quite heavy, which is expected with cast iron, but the dual handles make it easier to move around. The pot heats evenly and is perfect for cooking and baking, withstanding oven temperatures up to 530°F. Whether youâre simmering stews or baking bread, this Dutch oven is durable and versatile, offering excellent heat retention and distribution for consistent results.

Gorgeous and Functional
Exceptional cookware beautifully executed. At 6 quarts it is great for making large batches of chili, stew, etc. while it also easily transitions from stovetop to oven making a GREAT pot-roast. This will be an heirloom piece of cookware that will last for decades with proper care, and keep turning out exceptional meals along the way. The enameling is smooth and consistent, and cleans easily as well. The lid fits well, even when extremely hot, so heat-expansion leaking is not an issue. Excellent Dutch Oven at a good price for the quality.

Buyer Beware
The interior of this pot is not enameled. Itâs a rough black surface thatâs coarse as sandpaper. No idea what it is but itâs not something I would cook food in. Returning it.

Nice Dutch oven
I have a much larger 6 qt Dutch oven that I use for everything from stews to bread making and I love it, but it is heavy and sometimes I donât need something that big. This Dutch oven fills that need perfectly. The rich blue glaze is very nice and the oven itself feels well constructed. Itâs a much better value than the typical le creuset ones that sell for 3x this amount yet it functions exactly the same.If you donât have a Dutch oven, this is a good option as itâs a very versatile piece of kitchenware.

Too small for such an expensive pot
I was honestly disappointed when I unboxed this Dutch oven. It is much too small for the price. The color is nice and rich. The build is nice and durable. The problem is the size. Since unboxing, I have been trying to decide what I would cook in this Dutch oven pot and so far I’m drawing blanks due to the size. For the price of this Dutch oven, I would have to say pass on this one and look for something larger.
