You just need to unscrew nuts on metal base, then adjust the desired cord length, and tighten the nuts back to fix the cords. You can coil the excess cord with ties inside the base plate.

AKEZON Modern Glass Pendant Light 2 Pac ReviewWe bought 3 of these lights as part of a kitchen update.I LOVE THEM!Simple, but classic design that coordinates well with our stainless steel appliances, and light colored cabinets and countertops.Nice to have the option to order both a 2 pack, and a single light. And, these are very affordable.Lights were packaged well and there was absolutely no damage or flaws.Straightforward installation. We have some experience, but probably a good idea to hire a professional if you don’t have experience with electrical projects.Dimmable!We are in the process of re-doing the existing bright, canned lights, and it is so nice to be able to use these hanging lights at various brightness levels.The cords had some bends when we took them out of the box, but within a week, gravity took care of eliminating them.

Elegant Looking Fixture – DIY Installer Friendly
This is a very Elegant Fixture.This pendant light is very easy to install (about 20 minutes).The adjustable length was a great feature as we only needed it to hand about 14 inches from the ceiling.To the DIYers out there, I would recommend not installing the glass cylinders until after attaching the fixture securely to the ceiling.Several of our friends have complimented the look.

Very ice Pendants, But…….
Very nicely made pendant light. Very pretty once installed.Packed extremely well, no breakage.This is where the fun starts. Cords were way too long and had to be shortened.There are NO instructions given on how to do this.(You have to unscrew the plastic nut holding to cord to the dome. Then this plastic nut unscrews in half again. Once both are unscrewed, you can pull the cord through to the length you want)Then starts another problem as the wiring on this light is not US standard. All wires within the cord are the same color. No black or white wires.However, each wire is tagged on the end with an L for Live or Black wire. and an N for Neutral or white wire.BUT, if you cut the cord down to size you will lose the tags that mark each wire. So you have to split the cord holding the wires to release the wires down to the length you desire, then remove that excess plastic casing, remark the wires below where you are going to cut them off so you know which is which.I also had to go out and buy longer screws for attaching the dome to the electric box as the ones given weren’t long enough. (I bought 8-32 3″ screws) That worked fine.The instructions are poor. Written buy someone who doesn’t speak English as their native language. (I was SO tempted with my red pen) :-)I am female and 72 years old, so if I can do all this so can you!

Clean modern design
The description given online was accurate and the design fits our kitchen. My husband was able to install these although the wire nuts provided with the lights were too small and he used others he had on hand. One of the lights has a small flaw on the edge of the glass but I will live with it.

We decided to upgrade some lights in our house. The drop pendant lights in the kitchen were never our favorites, so we finally replaced them with these. Which we love.
