The clip spring system that they use doesn’t work well on the 4inch and 6inch retrofit cans. They don’t allow the lights to sit flush; they wouldn’t even stay in. Very disappointing. Very cheap materials. Also, the outer plastic rings that are supposed to cover a 4inch and 6inch hole, don’t completely cover. Which would mean caulking every =one of these to stay in place. Not worth the effort. Sad. I wanted them to work.

Awesome lights
I purchased these lights to go around my home under the soffit around the front of my home. I used an electrician to hardwire these in. Once electricity was connected to them, installing the app and connecting the devices and setting up, the signals was not hard at all just took a bit of time. The final product looks amazing. The ability to do so much on the color channels selections, and all exceeded my expectations of these lights. Would recommend these if youâre trying to find the light to put around your home.

Love them, easy to install and lots of options on the App. Only down fall is once they are on the App, trying to get them to be controlled by Alexa…tried several times with no luck so far.

These lights are great! I’ve only just recently installed them so I’ll have to come back to update this to report on longevity.As far as installation and function go, I truly could not be happier! If you scan the QR code on the side of the box it’s truly an easy breezy step by step.The app interface itself isn’t the MOST user friendly for set up but is surprisingly great post set up. If you’re younger or generally comfortable with tech you should have no issue whatsoever! The seller also seems to have posted some videos on set up that make things very clear if you need any help!It’s important to note, that the bridge is required in order to connect these lights to a smartphone interface such as Alexa, Siri, or Google home as well as to connect it to the app. Otherwise you may only have control via remote.We use Google home and after getting the lights hooked up and linked to the app via the bridge, it was a breeze to connect them directly through the google home app. The app and voice activated functions via Google home work great!The lights themselves really do have a GREAT range of color and brightness control. the control in warmth of the whites is exactly what I was hoping for and everything else is a huge bonus! We hooked our music up through the app and I’m astonished at how well synced the lights are and how well they interact with the music. Super handy for parties and entertaining.Overall, as of day one I’m INCREDIBLY happy with the product, and have already bought 10 more to deck out my whole house! I’ll report back in 6 months or so for an update!
