Nice Fairy Rope Lights
These rope lights are nice, but they are fairy lights inside of a rubber tube. They are not the thick rope lights that the product images make them appear to be. Actual pictures of the product would have been preferable to the photoshopped images displayed.If you go into it knowing that these are fairy lights, they are still nice lights. They’re pretty bright and have different light settings so you can choose to keep them steady on or one of several flashing sequences. The lights can be operated with the button on the battery pack or on the remote control. The battery packs are waterproof to a point. Moisture may still get inside, especially from condensation in the warmer months. If the battery coils get a little rusty, they can be brushed off with a small wire brush. I do not store my batteries in them and only put them in when I intend to use the lights.

Being creative with mini-lights
I recently purchased a New York City scene as a large canvas photo. The image is viewing the city through a red filter of the Brooklyn Bridge and the city skyline behind it. This is one of my favorite bridges and I wanted to do something special to make the image pop. I got the idea to put white LED lights on the back of the canvas and then make small pin holes along the bridge so that it looked like the street lights were on in the photo. I used one of the rope lights and secured it to the back of the photo canvas frame. Now, I have an image that looks amazing.There are 2 sets of rope lights and battery boxes. You will need 3 AA batteries for each set of lights (batteries not included). These are small lights within a clear rope tube. The remote lets you set the mode of the lights to 8 different settings. For my photo, I used the “twinkle/flash” settings to give the illusion of streets flickering in the night.

Love these but…
These are great lights. I wrapped them around our dog fence at the camper. They provide great lighting. However, I chose these specific ones because they had a remote. I wanted to be able to turn them off from inside the camper. But, the remote does NOT wok at all. For anything. You can’t turn them On. Off. Adjust the setting. Nothing. So don’t buy these if you want them for their remote control option.

I set these lights up all over our camping set up so people would not trip over stakes, guidelines, etc. and they worked well. I liked the various patterns that can be set and the super long length had me with some left over. Highly recommend.

a nice set of warm white outdoor fairy light style LEDs with patterns
These are the tiny teardrop LED lights, often called Fairy Lights, protected by clear vinyl tubing and a weather-sealed power plug.The remote and effects are pretty standard for single-color LEDs. There are blinking modes, slow fade, chase, and timer options.There is a power button on the plug, which is a welcome feature. The lights are flexible, plenty bright and are in a sealed tube, they should last a long time under reasonable conditions.There is a set of mini zip ties in the box for mounting the lights.The remote is responsive and works fine when pointed at the plug.I have gotten into the habit of putting labels on these small remotes to remind me what they are for. (do yourself a favor and label your remote!) This one says Golden Power on it, which is not the brand or company I got it from.If you have a deck or gazebo area, these are a good choice as they are unobtrusive… they are about half as thick as a ballpoint pen, so if you mount them well, they will be barely noticeable except for their cheery glow.Can you use them inside? of course, They look really cool when you tuck them into crown molding as they will be completely hidden and the glow appears in the molding. They also work and look great as an under bed light or as a room floor edge border.Can you step on them without breaking them?Yes and no. By accident, one time… probably, but these are little tiny LEDs on silvered wire inside of a flexible vinyl tube, try not to step on them.Can you eat them?No, do not eat the lights. They are not edible.

High Quality Rope Light!
I have used rope lights for decades in my sunroom and around the house in various place to provide ambient lighting. This rope light does not disappoint and I prefer this design over all the ones I have had over the years.The rope light comes with a remote control (be sure to remove the plastic tab to activate the battery prior to use) and zip ties. I appreciate the zip ties, a nice attention to detail and one less thing for me to search for, being a project hobbyist who often spends a great deal of time completing projects going back and forth to the tool box and my local home improvement store! The plug arrived separately, and only requires to simply be screwed on, recommend doing that after installation. You can control the settings using either the remote of the control button on the plug. The plastic tubing is very durable and appears to be able to withstand normal wear and tear. Of note the tubing is significantly thinner than the average rope lights. I really like this feature, as focus is on the light emitted, not the plastic tubing. The light emitted is soft white, which has always been my preference over daylight white. Wow, and the length, just over 130 feet goes a long way, covers my entire sunroom. Nice, so I didn’t have to order multiple units.Of note, only use this indoors. The plug design alone is clearly for indoor use only.
