Yay! A plentiful set; good magnetism; good variety of shapes
There are a lot of sets that seem like they give you a lot of tiles, but this one really delivers. We have a lot of tile sets and three avid builders and weâve learned that, when it really comes down to it, itâs not how fancy the set is, itâs the number of tiles, the variety of shapes, and their magnetic strength that matters. Imagine this: many builds revolve around square cubes that take 6 square tiles for each cube, that the points on castle tops take 4 large or 4 equilateral triangle to make and you see why having a great number of tiles give room for imagination to flourish. You need a lot of these basic shapes. This set has some windows and doors cutouts in the squares which add fun and donât detract from their function in building. This set also has âcastle parapetâ shapes which can also be used as fences or gates, etc. There are right triangles as well – picture half of a square and there are some rectangles. All in all, there is a good variety of shapes as shown on the site that will be functional in creating big, sturdy structures with fun features. The magnetism is on the higher side as well and these have their magnets fully enclosed in plastic (no seams visible) to make it less likely they will become exposed. That is why magnetic tiles are only recommended for ages 3+ who do not put things in their mouths, because if time, rough play, etc break down the tiles and they are exposed, swallowing these magnets is very dangerous and can even be fatal. [The only problem I have with this set is that the site shows a baby in one part of one of the ads]. No matter the type, all magnetic tiles should be inspected regularly to make sure they are in good condition. These tiles also come in a variety of colors. So if you want to really let kids imaginations fly give them A LOT of functional tiles like this set provides (or multiples of these sets as they will use them all I promise).

Compatible with Other Brands
I was happy to see that this set was compatible with my other magnetic tiles that I already own! My daughter really liked the bright colors. These tiles are comparable to other sets on the market in quality and strength of magnets. The magnets are strong enough to build with, but not so strong to pinch little fingers. Because I own other sets like these, I knew that this one set would not be large enough to build the towers and castles shown in the images. Upon opening the set, this company was clear about that fact as well⦠âMore quantity more fun!â I was happy to see how many triangles were included in this set as my others do not have as many. While they were nicely packaged in a sturdy box, itâs unrealistic to expect my four-year-old to put them away to where they would fit back in the box. Therefore, youâll need to have a separate bag or bin for easy cleanup and storage. I didnât rate this lower because the website never indicated a bag. However, other brands at a similar price point include bags.

Nice set of magnetic tiles
This is a nice set of magnetic tiles. They are sturdy and a good size, not too small. The magnets hold well. The plastic has a good thickness. They assemble easily. There are a variety of shapes. The instruction booklet has a variety of examples you can make. One thing about these types of tiles is that you need a lot. You need more than you think. For example, this set has 100 tiles. I think that is kind of the minimum. For the first block, you need 6 of them. Each additional block is 5 more that you need. A triangular roof is 4 more. For 10 blocks, you need 51 tiles. It’s not like blocks of the past or Lincoln logs. This is the second set I got for my grandkids, and I’ll bet 3 or 4 sets are more useful.

Heavier than appears
So it comes in a small to mid-size box, and because there are 100 pieces – that box is heavier than it looks. Not a complaint, just a warning that if a small child tries to grab the box thinking it’s lightweight and drop it on their toe or something. Otherwise, it’s a decent price for 100 pieces and it’s good at keeping kids occupied for a bit of time.

Save your money and get these
I have spent hundreds of dollars on the name brand magnet tiles and in my opinion these are the better option for price and quality. I’ve posted a few pictures of them side by side for comparison. They are the same size and dimensions as name brand. Seems to have stronger magnets too. The biggest difference is they do not have the metal grommets on corners. They fit and work well with the name brand and I love that some of these tiles come with windows to use. My 8 year old loves these and I’m very happy with them and for the price point you can’t beat it.

Fantastic Mag Tiles
I got these for my kids, ages 10, 12 and 13, to bulk up a few 50 piece sets that are mostly themed/fancy pieces. This set perfectly completes their little collection now. I know they’re older than the target age group, but the love of magnet tiles does not just disappear with age, so here we are!The colors are nice, the magnets are strong, the materials seem sturdy. These are some good magnet tiles. The kids have hours of fun with them.

A Beautiful and Fun Magnetic Block Set
This is a terrific toy for children 3 years and up. They can let their imaginations run wild and build a never ending variety of projects with the different block shapes. These are quite durable and my grandchildren love these. Although these are not cheap they will last and children will not grow tired of these.

Price is good
I love the magna tiles, and this is a pretty affordable price for 100! There are a variety of shapes, and these magnet tiles are very durable and fun for kids of all ages! It is a little difficult to fit the tiles back into the same box without looking at how they were arranged originally, but I did not remove any stars for that because of all of the other pros. I canât think of any cons to this item, they have been indestructible so far and I definitely love them! I like that it also comes with a book to include some designs to inspire children to build.
