When I first tried installing these lights only 2 worked perfectly. 2 of the 4 were dead on arrival. I tried them in different sockets, switched the socket adapters, etc. but was unable to get them working. To their credit Amazon shipped me a replacement set and all are working correctly.These lights were so easy to install. Download the required app. Remove the existing bulb and trim kit from the cans in the ceiling, screw in the socket adapters, connect the lights to the adapters and press them into the can housing. When power is first turned on they start blinking and are automatically detected and configured by the app. I had them up in running in less than 5 minutes for each light.The app allows you to configure the color temperature and brightness as well as assigning each bulb an almost infinite number of colors. These lights can be operated individually or grouped in the app (my 4 are labeled Living Room) so one touch in the app can turn them all on/off, change colors, etc. They can also change colors based on music playing. I thought that this was a neat trick but I don’t think I’ll do that very often. Lights can also be controlled by scenes such as “Turn off living room lights when I leave home” or “Send a notification to my phone when the lights are turned on”The lights are also easily controlled by Alexa or Google Assistant.Most importantly, these lights put out very accurate colors with no flicker or hums. They are a great addition even if you use them just out of the box but they have so many capabilities that you can try.UPDATE: I bought 6 more and they are great. They were a pleasure to install. The Tuya app automatically recognized them when I plugged each in, and I could easily set default color temperature/brightness and assign them to a group.My only issue is that the Tuya app is a little cumbersome. The app is often rebranded and used by other smart light companies. (For instance, Lumary and Smart Life are rebranded versions of Tuya). It allows me to assign specific lights to different rooms and create groups to control them all at the same time. I have 4 NitensLab lights in my kitchen. They are assigned to a kitchen “room” and combined into a Kitchen group. One touch on/off. But there doesn’t appear to be a way to either hide the individual lights or create a “Favorites” where only the Groups can appear. So if I want to control all my kitchen lights I have to swipe over to the Kitchen room, scroll past the individual lights and then select the Group. TP-Links Kasa and Tapo apps are much more flexible with a better user interface. But that’s more of a Tuya issue rather than NitensLab.

Great Product – Great Price
Received the lights next day after a 20% coupon – thanks Amazon. Excellent product, installed outside over my (2) porches, so needed (4) lights. I use Smart Life for all my wifi controlled devices, so simply screwed in the connector to the existing can, it lit up immediately, then began to flash, looked in Smart Life and it was waiting for me to connect and validate wifi network and password. Was then prompted to change name add to location. I use Google Home so it immediately showed up and I added to my home and was able to create and run an automation within in minutes. Lights a bright and the colors are amazing, would highly recommend!!

Works well for the most part. Lights are easy to install as plug-and-play on my existing can lights and syncs easily with the downloaded app. I was able to set each light to work individually, or can combine them as a group so that they sync in color.Cons: Colors does not match up perfectly with app. Red looks pink and green looks turquoise. Not true color. Default color set in app does not match up when turned on and only works 75% of the time. For example, setting color blue as default when turned on, may be red instead. Other times it’ll be a random color. Lights aren’t as bright as I hope it would be as well. Comes on dim unless you are using white, then it gets bright.Lastly, and deal breaker for me is that these do not work well with dimmer switches. It blinks on and off and only way for it to stop it from blinking is to set the dimmer to the lowest setting. Avoid if you have dimmer switches. Works well on regular switches.
