4 1/2 stars! Great look, great features, very happy with this clock.
This MOJIKOO Alarm Clock is surprisingly easy to set and use. I have had a couple of clocks recently that I have struggled to program so I was dreading this new one. There was nothing to dread, it is simple to set up and easy to use.I love the look of this clock as it matches our cherry wood nightstand. Not a big deal for others but I have been putting off getting a new alarm clock for hears cause I did not like the look of what was in the market. This clock has finally made me a happy camper. It comes with both a user manual and a quick start guide to help you get started. There are some features that I will not use such as the 25 soothing sounds, since it is something that I have never used nor needed. I did toggle through them just to see what they are like, and there is a lot of variation from white noise, fan sounds, ocean waves, rain, thunderstorms, brook, chirping, birds, crickets, frogs, campfire, shush, train, lullary, bye baby, forest, and wind. There are eight different alarm sounds:- birds chirping, piano, flute, forest, brook, ocean, wave, beep and buzzer. The alarm is easy to set up an easy to turn off weâre not used. The two things that I plan to use frequently on this clock are the USB charging port and the bluetooth option. I always have a multi charger on the bed to charge my phone and iPad. Yet when my husband gets into bed having that wire across his side of the bed is not something that he was happy with. This clock solves that problem since I cannot plug my phone or iPad into the clock. Problem solved!I love listening to music in the bedroom and can now use the bluetooth speaker. For a small clock the sound is decent, as the sound comes from both the top and bottom of the alarm clock. The volume goes to 30 which is sufficient for a small clock. When I need louder sound, I will use a bluetooth speaker (I do love loud music). All in all, I am beyond happy with this clock! I like the look, the features, and it is very easy to use and set up. What more can you ask for?4 1/2 stars!

Looks great!
I liked the look when I was shopping. A happy purchase. Of course, it works just fine, too.

Exceeds expectations! One of the best I’ve seen! If only it was rechargeable.
I was not expecting much as I’ve ordered a few other sound machines in this price range which have been very disappointing and ended up right in the trash. This one has realistic sounds … normally you can hear electronic recording glitches or awkward sound loop cuts in cheaper units. Not in this one. It sounds better than one I purchased years ago at double the price.I love that this has sounds which will be good for both babies and parents. In my video, I run through each sound, so you can hear what you are getting. Some of the sounds are very similar, just made at a higher/lower frequency. Despite that, there is a good variety.Baby sounds:The lullabies, especially Rockaby Baby, is our newborn’s favorite. 50% of the time, when she is fussy or crying, this loop will calm her down and stop crying. This is so great, even if it only works half the time. The shush sound I have heard great things about in other baby sound machines but seems to make our little one cry even harder. There are a few machine-type sounds which could sound like a womb … I was surprised there was no heartbeat sound. Overall, it would be nice if the sounds were grouped in baby vs. non-baby because to get from shush to lullabies to womb (train?) sounds, there are some high pitch ones in between which startle a lulled to sleep baby.Adult sounds …I need a fan or white noise to sleep. Sometimes hotel rooms are so quiet, I lay awake all night. This is small enough to fit in my carry on bag and I love that it has a bunch of white noise/fan settings. The speaker is good enough that it does add some bass into the sound vs. a high pitching hissing, which makes it sound more like a real motor. This is fantastic for my needs of a fan or air conditioner when sleeping.Nature sounds … While they certainly aren’t 100% realistic, they are more accurate than a lot of sound machines in this price level. The ocean sounds are a bit too mechanical/electronic for me. However, the crickets chirping and thunderstorm sounds are great to fall asleep to in the winter. Crackling fire is okay … there is one which sounds like the corridors of a space ship or an airplane, which I love for relaxing.Overall, I love this thing. The only complaint is that I would love it if this had an option to be rechargeable, as the plug-in chord sticks out of the back making it awkward. Also, it would be great to put this near the baby in bed without being near an outlet. This would also make it slightly easier to use when traveling. The alarm clock works well and is super easy to set. I like that it has a battery back up, in case of a power loss. You can also use it as a bluetooth speaker and as a 5W speaker, it won’t perform as well as a standalone speaker … but has enough bass to make music sound non-tinny and fuller. The wood grain and the digital display being shown through the wood grain makes it look more expensive. I would probably buy this for double the price. It is one of my best scores of the year. I hope my video demonstrating the different sounds, pictures and honest review of this item, after actually using it, were helpful to you.

I was pleasantly surprised by this compact sound machine. It’s a clock, nightlight, bluetooth speaker and sound generator with alarm/snooze and sleep functions. The unit I received is as pictured in the Amazon listing. It has a nice wood-grain finish on the sides with subtle touch buttons on the cloth top surface and a large, easy to read clock and display on the front side. More controls and a USB-A charging port are on the back of the unit. A power supply and chord are included along with a coin battery that maintains the time and alarm settings during a power interruption. The unit is about 3.75 inches wide x 3.75 inches deep and 2.75 inches high. The display intensity has a wide range of adjustment so you can make the clock easy to read in bright daylight and dim it down to the point where there is no glow from the display to light up a dark bedroom but it’s still easy to read. Excellent! I don’t need the nightlight feature, but it does produce a nice effect.I didn’t really notice the bluetooth speaker feature when I placed the order but it was a nice surprise to be able to play music and podcasts through the speaker. Pairing my phone and the speaker was simple and they reconnect quickly and reliably. The time is supposed to synch with compatible phones over bluetooth. I assume my Samsung A53 is one of the phones that is not compatible. No problem, as manually setting the time is simple and I haven’t seen any loss or gain of time over the past 4 weeks. The sound quality is quite good given the speaker size. More importantly, I can lower the sound level to a point where the music is just in the background as I’m going to sleep. Combine this with sleep function and the music will play for up to 180 min. The volume control and sleep timer also work with the sound generator.I’m not one for white or fan noise but I’m impressed with the realistic sounds synthesized. There are 25 sounds to choose from including 5 types of white noise, 5 fan noises, 5 water themes, some animal sounds, wind, a train and others. The full list is in the manual. All of the features are fairly well documented (in English only) in the manual which comes in a paper version with the unit, but can also be found on-line by searching for “Mojikoo UE288 manual”. The unit operates as described in the manual. I found I needed the manual to access all the features. In end, I probably won’t use some of them all, but it’s nice to know that they work if I decide I’d like to.I’ve been using the Mojikoo UE288 for about 4 weeks now. I like sleeping in a dark room the clock is just bright enough that I can tell what time it is if I wake up, but not so bright that it disturbs my sleep by lighting up the whole room . I switch between falling to sleep to music or to the sound of waves or rainfall. It’s working for me.

PROS:* The UE288 sound machine is a solidly constructed device that is compact, yet full-featured.* The LED display is easily visible and quickly dimmable using a rear mounted dial interface.* The larger speaker provides better sound quality and with more bass compared to some other sound machine offerings.* There is a timer option to turn off the sound machine/night light/Bluetooth audio stream after 30, 60, 90, 120 and 180 minutes. I found this quite handy.* There is a noticeable heft to the design which, with the support of four grippy pads, helps keep the device from sliding around the table surface.* There are 25 sound machine tracks. Most are good enough to fade asleep with and some sound significantly better (more realistic) than others.* The audible volume range of the UE288 is wide and strong. For sleeping, I can’t imagine using the higher volume levels.* I found the UE288 generally intuitive to use. Not all users will have the same experience.* There is a USB charge port on the rear and I found it good enough to charge other devices overnight.* The UE288 did not appear to give off any significant heat in any circumstance. I suppose if I ran loud music through it all day and have the display on full brightness it might get warm.* This is subjective, but I think the esthetics look great and comforting to the eyes both daytime and night.* The user manual is well written (in English) and comprehensive.* The manufacture provides an 18 month warranty and a support email contact on the front of the user manual.CONS:* For some reason my UE288 unit has impractically low audio output when Bluetooth paired with my mobile device. There wasn’t anything I could do about it. All my other Bluetooth wireless speakers did not have this problem. Fortunately, I do not keep my mobile near my bed while I sleep so having it paired for audio feed is a very low priority. Nonetheless, I figure if it is a feature, then it should work properly. Other than the low volume sound level, when the volume was maxed out on the device and mobile, the sound dynamic quality felt acceptable in terms of reproducibility for a bedside appliance.* Reaching behind and depressing the right pushbutton to cancel the daily alarm is a bit kludgy. Thankfully, it is a corner button versus in the middle of the buttons.* The product is advertised as supporting stereo sound. There is definitely a speaker at the top because I can hear sound machine tones from it. But if there is a speaker at the bottom, I am unable to hear anything. Stereo sound also implies there are two amplifiers inside the device, or at least an amplifying chip that has a pair of speaker outputs. The device would need to be opened to confirm this. Nonetheless, I can only hear one speaker firing. Maybe the designer should have kept the audio to monophonic.* A shopper might think the UE288 is a bit expensive. It might be, but an available vendor 10% discount coupon (at the time of this review) helps relieve some of the concern.SUMMARY:This is nicely designed sound machine despite a few perturbing cons. It feels solid and the larger speaker helps improve the sounds over smaller sound machine products. For me, the product is a 3.5 out of 5.

So, the MOST important thing for me with a clock for my bedside table is the ability to control the brightness. I do not like to open my eyes in the night and have to squint because the digits are too darn bright. So, if you’re like me I have GREAT news: brightness is NOT set with some number of preset levels, but instead with a thumb wheel, giving you exacting control over brightness from 100% all the way down to fully off. LOVE it!!Better still, the orange numbers are naturally a colour that doesn’t light up the area around your alarm clock. Unless you funadamentally object to orange, this is a great colour as it blends well with the wood grain housing… especially if you have the brightness set low for nighttime and so in the daytime it looks like a wood box at a glance. I like that.I like the textured pattern on the cloth that tops the alarm clock, and I like the feel of the controls. The most frequently used functions are accessed via rubbery buttons on the top that are easy to feel for in the dark. Secondary functions are on the back. All the buttons have a positive feel. The Bluetooth function works well, and though you’ll need to spend a lot more money to get better bass from a small box, the sound quality is very good for the size: clean, balanced, and with reasonable bass. I probably won’t use the white noise function, but the selection of 25 sounds from plain white noises to the sounds of thunderstorms and rain, frogs croaking, birds singing, lullabys, etc., is impressive.ONE complaint, though: it doesn’t seem to keep time very well… after a couple weeks I noticed it was already about 6 minutes BEHIND… which could be problematic if you start sleeping too late. However, I hadn’t ever paired the Bluetooth with my phone and having done that now it appears that connecting by Bluetooth appears to sync the time.Overall, I’m very pleased and recommend this alarm clock!!

I find Sound Machines with ambient noise help with sleep, I’m a fan of white noise and fans that block out noise from outside and in the home and they’re excellent when doing shift work! I was interested in this sound machine/ alarm clock as I like the idea of an all-in-one unit and it’s very convenient for traveling, I show the alarm clock in my video! This unique clock combo resembles wood in a sleek modern design, it’s well-made and designed and has an interesting dimmable clock display. A 5v power adapter powers the unit, and there are separate buttons for setup and several quality push buttons to control all the functions, Nice! This clock has many features, including Bluetooth connectivity, wakeup modes, nightlight, sleep with white noise/fans, a USB A port for charging devices, and a backup clock battery. This alarm clock is fairly easy to set and I had no issues connecting the unit to my MP3 player. After testing, I was impressed with the sound quality, I finally have an alarm clock that sounds great with bass and treble an amazing upgrade. I’ve been using the player at bedtime to listen to some relaxing music streamed online, using the fan noise during sleep, and waking up to birds chirping, a total of twenty-five noises, 5 White Noise, 5 Fans and the rest are Nature Sounds, I like most of the sounds but use the E01 Fan 1 during the night and wake up to E16 Bird Chirping. The nightlight has eight color options, it looks great and the brightness can be adjusted. In conclusion, this compact Mojikoo sound machine/alarm clock is well-designed with an easy turn knob for clock display brightness, Bluetooth speaker, nightlight, and sound machine. It has good sound quality and is excellent for traveling, so I’m giving it 5 Stars.
