White ring around the clock is disappointing.
Bought clock for use in my kitchen. Read about the white outside ring on the clock in reviews but underestimated it. Clock works fine after a week. Silver clock face looks great with stainless appliances. Outside white ring looks a little odd and cheap, however. I am hoping white will not yellow with age. Took a chance and bought the clock on sale so will keep it. Sure wish the outside ring had been done in silver matching the clock face.

Just Perfect!
My kitchen clock is so cute. Expensive. Cuckoo with Tinkerbell. Tink sweeps out on the hour…well the wire broke and her one door stays open…ok…what time is it? Can’t really see it very well, so I painted the clock hands….better. Finally when the time was way off, instead of changing the batteries on the half broken back door. Decided after looking and looking to purchase this clock. And why did I wait? LOVE IT! Looks nice and sleek and modern. The clear rim allows the clock to blend in with any decor. The white rim goes well with my white kitchen cabines. The second hand softly and quietly sweeps along. Tink is retired to the basement play room. Now I actually at a glance know what time it is! Even came with a battery and a screw. Nice quality. So glad I went for it!

Seiko Wall Clock
Got this because I was sick and tired of having a really cheap wall clock either running too fast or too slow after less than 24 hours of run time. Within 1 year I’ve gone through 4 cheap wall clocks and decided to try something else. Since I’m an owner of many Seiko watches, I figured I’d try a Seiko Wall Clock in hopes that I’d have better luck. So far, it’s been about 3 days and it is keeping great time. Love the fact that it is very quiet and does not have the quartz ticking second hand. Instead, the second hand has the sweeping movement like one of my automatic watches. Hoping for the best in the future for this wall clock. However, after 3 days of running great, this is a record for me and as of now, I’m satisfied with this wall clock. Also, it has a real clean modern look that is very pleasing to the eye.

I’ve only had this since Jan. 12/2024, so it’s not even two months. But so far the time has been very accurate. I like the quiet second hand sweep. Contrary to other reviews, I don’t find this clock hard to read at all. The 2nd hand is a light silver but I wouldn’t want it to be more prominent, as you really only want to see the main hands most of the time. It’s a nice looking clock. It looks a bit on the cheaper side, but I’ve come to love it very much. If I have any issues with it, I will update my review.

Design is amazing and in top it is extremely silent. I have other wall clocks from Actim and John Lewis both are silent but they have some wizzing sound which can be heard in quite surroundings. Seiko is on another level completely quiet.
