Sturdy and well made.
Small but sturdy toy piano. I purchased for my 1 year old grandson and he seems to love it. The keys are similar to a pianos keys. It is quite loud! This is not electronic and mimics a real piano. I noticed that my grandson (just learning to walk) would lean on it and I worried that it would flip but I was happily surprised that it held his weight. Would recommend.

My grandson loves this.
It’s well built and sturdy, as it needs to be…I call my grandson Schroeder as in ‘Peanuts cartoons’, he is one year old, and plays the piano and sings at the top of his voice…adorable…I also bought a small plastic Beethoven bust to place on top…

The differences between this and a traditional piano.
The Melissa & Doug Learn To Play Piano is a good beginner instrument for toddlers. It looks and plays like a toy, but it indeed sounds like a real musical instrument. The included songbook will help those of you who don’t know how to play a piano at least play a few simple recognizable songs to your toddler. My 2-year old loves banging on the keys, and they can withstand anything he can do to it. It is great that this piano is colorful to attract the attention of toddlers, but some may prefer a single solid color option like on traditional pianos (for those of you that do prefer a single color option, I would still recommend this piano until the company makes it an option). Also, unlike traditional pianos, striking the keys produce a sound resembling that of bells chiming rather than piano tones. However, the notes accurately emulate those of a traditional piano. Don’t fret if you get this toy and become disappointed that it doesn’t sound like a traditional piano. I see this product equally as a toy and a learning tool, and the time will come when your child will want to step up their playing to a real piano because they started with this toy. That being said, this toy is worthy of buying for most who want to introduce their 2 to 3+ year old to a real musical instrument.

LOVE this Piano – for Kid AND Husband!
My husband plays keys, so of course we got a little piano for our 14mo old to introduce him to music. But the sound quality of this piano is fabulous! We lived in a small apt for the last year, so my husband has to keep his keyboard stored in the closet. He would literally practice on this little piano or just play a line when inspiration struck. And anytime my husband played, my son would jump on his lap and they’d play together. Many sweet memories made for the 2 of them together. It has gotten a lot of use and taken quite a beating. It’s not quite as in tune after a year, but for a 2 year old, it still does quite well.

This little piano brought so much joy!
I ordered the piano after a FB marketplace piano deal fell through. I ordered this one and had it sent straight to my great niece’s house. Her mom sent me a video of her singing and playing away… Musice is so important in the lives of children. Glad my great niece has this sturdu little piano to play on!

3 keys broken upon delivery
We purchased this cute little acoustic toddler piano for my grandson for a Christmas gift. I had read mixed reviews about this piano, but decided to take a chance. Unfortunately after opening it and tapping gently on the keys, we could hear that a few keys were not working correctly/broken (?). The package came very nicely boxed with lots of protection, so I can only conclude that it was either defective from the start, or became that way from being shipped. When I picked up the box to bring it in the house, after being delivered, you can hear the keys moving around very easily. It is my my opinion that whatever the keys are held in place with are defective. our grandson is only 1 year and not hard on his toys, but I have read reviews that said that their toddler banging on the keys broke them. Even though this is not our case, they should be able to withstand toddlers tapping on the keys, even if it is not so gentle. Toys are not made like they used to be. We had a little piano like this for my daughter when she was a toddler many years ago, and she banged on that frequently â â and the keys never stopped working. The little piano frame itself looks beautiful â â looks very well-made and sturdy, but unfortunately, when it comes to the mechanism of the keys , which is the main part, itâs just not worth the money. I had hoped for an acoustic piano rather than a digital oneâ but Iâm afraid to purchase a replacement and have the same thing happen. My grandson loves this toyâ even with broken keys. I hope Melissa and Doug can make sure there is better quality control on products or fix the product flaw if thatâs what it is.

I’m a guy who doesn’t have kids. I wanted to buy something not perfect but have a soul.I’ve seen many toys tossed into the garbage after a few uses. This particular piano seems traditional and handcrafted. The colors vibrant and even though the keys sounds like tinkerbell’s…. that’s the magic to a young child’s ears. The toy can be a decor for the child’s room for many years to come and I want you to think about something.Imagine that toy is still sitting on a teenager bedroom shelves as a memory of someone dear to them.

Buena calidad y sonido el tamaño es muy chico, un niño de 3 años se tiene que sentar para tocarlo y ni asà esta cómodo

Does not sound like a piano at all. At best it’s a fancy xylophone. The colour coded guide for the keys is flimsy and does not last a week.
