Half this book is information, on using fasting, what to eat. Love the info.! The back half is recipes. They are done well. Nice pictures of the recipe. Some ingredients may be hard to find. Worth it! I gave it 3 stars cause some of the ingredients are hard to find, or just don’t like the food.

I am on Dr. Mindy Pelz fasting train and I am loving every minute of it.
I ordered this book to learn how to make healthier recipes when I am breaking my fast. I can’t wait to attend the masterclass today and learn more about what and how to eat, that will help me on my journey. I received the book yesterday and already found some great looking recipes that I want to try.I am in the process of changing my lifestyle and take care of God’s gift to me, clean up my inside and lose some weight and not have my clothes so tight on me anymore. I weighed 150lb when I started. I have been doing 17 to 22 hours of fasting every day since Sept 2nd of this year. At that point, I lost 5-7lbs and it wouldn’t go down anymore. Then this last Sunday, I decided to do a 5 days fasting to reset my immune system. My first day was a dry fasting then water fasting even without my best drink…black coffee. After 79 hours, I checked my glucose and it was at 63 with the hypo flashing on my meter. I felt that I could continue my fasting but I didn’t want to risk my health, so I broke my fast slightly then continued fasting for17 hours then broke my fast. My weight today was 132lbs…wow what a difference it made. I am proud of myself but I wouldn’t be able to accomplish this without Dr. Mindy Pelz. Her years of knowledge that she shares with us, her vibrant personality and genuine care for us women is unique. I love watching her videos and I can’t get enough of learning about fasting like a girl.I am changing my mind set on how to loose weight, doing it the right and easier way and maintain it from now on. What a great adventure I embarked on. Thank you for being you Dr. Mindy Pelz.

Elevate your life and your food
I stumbled upon FLAG on complete accident when I was a few months Postpartum with my first baby. It was literally the best âaccidentâ of my life. I learned so much and after following the simple protocols, at 35y/o I have NEVER felt better. I tell everyone I know about FLAG because it is that amazing!When I saw Eat Like a Girl was available for preorder I promptly clicked the order now button! Iâve been counting down and looking forward to its arrival ever since! Now that I have my copy (with blue âgirlâ) in hand I have already made the fasting crackers on page 107 ð¤ and am making the protein pumpkin pancakes next. Whenever I order a cookbook I hesitate to order it because sometimes they have crazy ingredients I canât find in my rural area. If you order this book youâll find tasty recipes with normal ingredients. Some of the recipes on my list to cook up are: guacamole with vegetable chips, southwest steak and sweet potato hash, lentil soup, fettuccine âAlfredoâ, maple peanut butter fudge. â¦you get the idea. Anyway if youâve made it this far into the first review I have ever left on any product in my entire life, then youâre already pretty invested and should probably just order this book. Gorgeous & Informative
This book is an incredible resource! The layout and photos are beautiful and thoughtfully put together. Even if youâve read FLAG, ELAG is a must. The charts, lists, and recipes are all helpful and in color! Highly recommend! Dr. Mindy and her team did an amazing job balancing information with practical implementation. And the recipes! I canât wait to try what Chef Leslie and Chef Jeff brought to the table! Iâve been following FLAG for 3 months and have lost 10lbs the healthy way!

I love the book eat like a girl
This book shows you how to eat after you fast. The recipes are beautiful, and it has vegan, keto, carb, carnivore,& hormone feasting recipes. If you follow Mindy and her Fast like a girl this is the partner book it helps you to know what and how to eat after fasting – The power phase, the manifestation phase, the nurture phaseWomen have cycles and eating for those monthly cycles will make you healthy not fat.The trick is knowing what to eat and when. I do recommend getting both of Mind’s books “eat like a girl” and Fast like a girl” Then you will be able to understand and follow Mindy’s Health for women philosophy.

Fantastic book! This is not just a cookbook, it is full of information, including the 30 day reset and what to eat coming off your fast. There are your staples in the recipes; broth, sauces and lots of delicious meals including some fantastic snacks and desserts. Meals to balance your hormones, stabilize your blood sugars and these recipes support a healthy gut. It’s a beautiful, colorful book. I love it! This will be one of my regular go to books.

What a great companion to the fast like a girl book. Nice to have healthy options to go with what to eat in the eating window. Nice to know there are no seed oils in any recipe. The beginning information, so helpful. I got one for each of my girls for Christmas. And one for myself of course. I love the pictures of the meals, I always find it great when there is a visual of what your meal should/could look like. Worth the wait.
